We are an IT partner to a FTSE 250 top London Market insurer, operating from development hubs in London, Manchester and Hyderabad.

Xyenta transforms processes through BI Technologies, AI tools, and system integration by connecting data directly to the point of consumption across finance, actuarial and regulatory processes.

Role

You will work closely with the client and the developer teams to define technical build specifications. You will ensure timely communication between the client team and developers to enable an effective and efficient development and delivery process.

Responsibilities

Work as part of the delivery team to
Gather information required by development team to understand build requirements
Convert requirements into technical build tasks
Update requirements documentation as appropriate
Develop test cases
Ensure that system changes are adequately represented in the defined test plans
Support testers in documentation of test results and bug triage
Working with the Lead Technical Analyst you will be the primary coordinator between the development team and the user group, including
Coordinating with the users during UAT, triaging bugs and user issues and ensuring fixes are per the project prioritisation
Facilitating requirement gathering and feedback meetings with the client team
Supporting the preparation of technical, business process, and user documentation to support the migration of systems from development to BAU

Soft Skills / Prior Experience

Aptitude for business and technical analysis, and problem solving
Able to quickly build up an understanding of a process and requirements
Accounting knowledge with an understanding of core accounting principles
Experience of working in an accounting role in industry or in an accounting firm
Knowledge of the BI technology stack would be helpful
Good communication skills
Experience of Agile development process
Comfortable with handling change and prioritising requirements to ensure deadlines are met
