We are an IT partner to a FTSE 250 top London Market insurer, operating from development hubs in London, Manchester and Hyderabad.

Xyenta transforms processes through BI Technologies, AI tools, and system integration by connecting data directly to the point of consumption across finance, actuarial and regulatory processes.

Role Summary

You will work closely with our technical analysts to help deliver finance data and process change solutions using the Microsoft BI technology stack.

SQL Server (Must have)

Good knowledge in Creating Tables, Views, Triggers, Stored Procedures, User Defined Functions, System Defined Functions and other T- SQL statements, Constraints and Indexes using various DDL and DML Commands like Joins, Constraints, Group by Clause, Distinct Clause, Sub Queries, String / Date / Numeric Functions
Experience in Creating & using of Temporary Tables
Creating and managing SQL Server jobs
Good knowledge of using Dynamic SQL
T-SQL Programming concepts like IF, WHILE, CASE-WHEN-THEN and Exception handling
Debugging Techniques using SQL Server Profiler and SQL Server events
Performance Tuning techniques
Understanding of Database Backup & Restore concepts

SSIS (Must have)

Knowledge of data warehouse concepts star schema, facts and dimensions.
Hands on experience in Control Flow Tasks
Expertise in Data Flow Task components like (Conditional split, Merge, Merge Join, Union all, Lookup, Derived Column etc.)
Experience on various data sources like (Excel, Flat File, CSV, XML, SQL server, Access DB etc.)
Good knowledge on Event handling, Error handling in SSIS
Experience on logging, Configurations in SSIS
Should have extensive knowledge on performance tuning
Should have extensive knowledge on SSIS deployment process
Design and build effective SSIS packages
Experience in designing and building complete ETL/SSIS processes moving and transforming data for ODS, Staging, and Data Warehouse
Basic Knowledge required on C# (or) VB.NET

Able to conduct code reviews on the work done by other members of the team
Ability to mentor junior members of the team
Good communication skills in spoken and written English
Exposure to best practices and frameworks
Should keep work at hand organized and structured. Able to create templates, establish own standards based on client inputs
